This was a preliminary sketch for an egg tempera painting of the same name, sold at a student exhibition at SUNY New Paltz, NY. My good friend Scott Dickie took a photograph of me for this. The N.C. Wyeth tempera "Nightfall" with one of its figures turned away was an obvious influence for the final painting.
